Originating from the wild and desert lands of Yemen, this jewel signed Wadi Shibam®, with proven therapeutic virtues, is one of the best honeys in the world.

From the Do'an region in Hadramawt, and usually from November, about 40 days are enough for the bees to extract the nectar of the Sidr flowers and produce one of the most expensive honeys in the world.

One of the peculiarities of this honey is that it is harvested by Yemeni beekeepers in a totally artisanal way that uses only their hands without using specific machines or tools.

Another peculiarity of the Yemeni Sidr Honey is that it does not crystallize! Even if its color darkens over time, at least one to two years for a honey from this region, its texture will remain intact.

This antioxidant and antibacterial honey is often used in Yemen and elsewhere to treat many ailments such as:
    - respiratory tract infections
    - cough
    - sinusitis
    - angina
    - digestive or intestinal problems
    - ulcers
    - liver problems
    - stomach problems or malnutrition
    - weak immune system
    - Staphylococcus aureus

    In local application for:
    - the cuts
    - Light Burns or even 3rd degree Heavy Burns
    - wounds, even infected ones
    - acne
    - eczema
    - psoriasis
    - Staphylococcus
    - certain eye diseases

Sidr honey is even widely used in Yemen to boost women's recovery after childbirth, as the Yemeni Sumur Honey, which promotes the treatment of anemia after blood loss.
And combined with other ingredients, this honey is even considered a natural aphrodisiac.

    Usage tips:
    - In cure, it is advisable to take a teaspoon in the morning on an empty stomach 30 minutes before the meal and one in the evening before sleeping. It is possible to take this spoonful as it is or dilute it in a glass of warm water. This last use is even recommended because it allows easier and faster ingestion and allows especially to associate something else like the addition of a teaspoon of Nigella Sativa Oil from Ethiopia for a cure very rich in therapeutic benefits. It takes a minimum of two months for a good cure.
    - In local application, its healing property is one of its most impressive properties. Able to promote or accelerate the healing of tissues, it is considered a powerful natural disinfectant able to fight against infections.
After cleaning the wound to be treated with saline or hydrogen peroxide, it is recommended one to two daily applications of two hours on the part of the body to be treated. Use a sterilized object preferably, especially if the part to be treated is at risk of infection, spread the honey directly on the wound or on a gauze that will be positioned on the wound, then cover the gauze with a compress of protection if needed to keep the dressing overnight or a day. Then replace it every day. Due to its viscosity, Yemeni Sidr Honey is very easy to apply, facilitates the replacement of dressings, rinses and cleans itself very simply.

    - For ocular use, dilute a few drops of Sidr honey with a little saline and then put a few drops in the eye to be treated.

    Conservation tips:
    - Store the Yemeni Sidr Honey in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and at room temperature.
    - It is strongly discouraged to expose it to the sun, high temperatures and temperatures above 40°C because these factors are causes of degradation of honey and the loss of its therapeutic benefits.
    - Honey can be kept for a very long time at room temperature, so there is no interest in freezing it to avoid its crystallization because this honey does not crystallize and freezing could even make it lose its virtues especially on the plan vitamin and enzymatic.

In summary, Yemeni Sidr Honey is most certainly one of the best honeys in the world...
